I just love the way my Hannah suite turned out for Patricia and Scott. Their simple yet bold color choices really made these invitations come to life!
WOW! Can you believe that it is officially June? I feel like 2014 has flown by. I’m trying to make up for lost time with all my recent blogging. However, once our baby boy comes at the end of July, I have a feeling I’m going to go back into hiding for a little while. So I might as well blog it up while I can!
I was pretty excited when one of our Jupiter and Juno bride’s chose my Lucy Suite for her wedding invitations! This is one of my personal favorites and the colors she chose…. well, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves!!!!
One of my favorite things about designing invitations for Jupiter and Juno is that each bride that orders from the site has their own unique style. One of my more popular invitation suites, Georgia, has gotten several “make overs” thanks to each brides individual taste. Although they are all the same design, each one takes on a life of it’s own.
The possibilities are endless…
On this Memorial Day, I thought it would be fitting to show you all this very lovely, yet patriotic wedding invitation suite that I created for Janelle and Mitch’s big day. I created each famous monument illustration by hand. It was definitely tedious, but the final product was well worth it!
But let us not forget the real reason why we celebrate this special day in the first place. It’s not just another day off of work or a reason to have a back yard cookout. It a day to remember and honor those that have served us and our country. Those who have fought and died for our freedom and safety.
As most of you may know, I have been working with Jupiter and Juno Letterpress for the past year. I was able to take a little bit of time from my otherwise busy schedule to create a new suite for their shop. I would love for you to pass this along to anyone who are looking for beautiful (and affordable) letterpress wedding invites!
For any of you who think that letterpress invitations are way out of your budget, I’m here to tell you that you’re in luck! Currently, all of my designs are on sale over at Jupiter and Juno! Get them while you can because the sale won’t last forever.
Here’s my newest creation…the Dara suite. If you’re interested in purchasing any of these, simply click here.
Not quite sure where I find the time, but I was feeling crafty so I decided to design two new invitation suites for Jupiter and Juno. Hope you all like them!

Well, I suppose it’s about time to make this bittersweet announcement…
Due to the fact that I am a whopping 36 weeks prego…I’ve decided not to take on any new clients for the spring or summer of 2012 (and perhaps through the entire year). Since TEN:THIRTEEN design is a one woman operation, I’m afraid that I just wouldn’t have the time to devote to my clients. Being a first time mom, I have no idea what’s in store for me, but I do know that I will want to spend as much time with my new bundle of joy as I possibly can.
I will still attempt to blog from time to time (and keep you all updated). I don’t think that my love of being crafty and obsessed with stationery will cease simply because I have a baby! I just need to assess my time and priorities and go from there!
Well, it has finally arrived! The new face of TEN:THIRTEEN design! I hope you all like it! I now have a blog and website all rolled into one! I want to send a special thanks out to Rhaya Shilts, for helping me create such a fantastic website! She was a dream to work with! So for those of you interested in talents such as her’s, be sure to check out her site and get in touch with her! I promise, you wont regret it!
I would love to hear everyone’s feedback about my new site. I tried to design it so that it would be easy for the viewer to navigate and see fresh new samples of my work. Of course, sometimes when you look at something too long, you loose sight of what it was you were looking for in the first place. So if you think there’s anything that could be improved upon, I would love to hear your suggestions!
Now, on to more exciting news….Yes, I know, what could be more exciting than my new website? Well, here’s a hint…
Yep, that’s right! There’s a little Bilskie bun in the oven!!!! It’s been so difficult keeping it a secret for so long! But when Rhaya told me that the site was nearly complete, I knew I had to hold out and make it my first post! As of this Saturday, I will be a whopping 16 weeks prego (that’s 4 months for those not up on the baby lingo). I will be sure to keep you all informed with entertaining posts pertaining to my ever changing thoughts, moods, and tummy sizes!
Keeping with the “green” theme, I wanted to showcase a set of wedding invitations I created back in 2008… Enjoy!
