Happy Friday everyone!!! Wanted to share these awesome laser cut Halloween cards I found on Oh So Beautiful Paper.
“The laser-cut process seems so perfect for these Halloween designs, from the spider web to the spooky haunted house. And if you’re not a fan of the more traditional orange and black Halloween color palette, you can choose either purple or gray to offset the black laser-cut elements.”
Couldn’t have said it better myself!

I have to admit, I love Halloween! Something about it makes me feel like a kid again. And now that I have a child of my own (not that she’s old enough to remember her first Halloween), I’ve been getting even more excited! I can’t wait until she’s at that age where she’s picking out her own costume, taveling door to door and going through all her awarded candy!
Here are a few spooky Halloween party invitations to get you in the mood for tricks and treats…

Happy Friday everyone! Thought I would post an extra cute invite to get your weekend of right!
Could be one of the cutest sets of baby shower invites I’ve ever seen! Melissa and Amy from Atheneum Creative created these adorable invitations for a “Little Man” theme baby shower, incorporating mini bow ties into each invitation along with a few playful details for the day of the shower. So cute! Of course, found these on Oh So Beautiful Paper. Enjoy!!!
Here’s a happy little post for Friday!!!
One of my lovely former brides, Heidi, asked if I could help her out with designing birth announcements for her new little bundle of joy. Of course, (since I’ve got baby on the brain myself) I happily accepted! Baby Farrar’s gender was going to be a surprise, so I created both a set of pink and blue invitations. Once little Ethan was born, we joyfully went ahead with the blue. In keeping with Heidi’s beautifully decorated nursery, we chose to use a cute little owl icon. The rest she left up to me!
Thanks to Alison and Travis, over at Bowerstock Photographers, I have a few photos of how the announcements turned out! The talented duo also photographed Heidi’s maternity photos as well as the adorable pic of little Ethan featured in the announcement.
I found this gorgeous invitation on the Oh So Beautiful blog. They are actually 50th birthday party invitations, but, personally, I think they could be a wonderful starting point for some oh-so-beautiful wedding invitations. Plus I’m a sucker for pink peonies! In fact, I just used similar artwork for one of my favorite invitation sets of the year. To check out that post, simply click here.
Designer Heidi from Zenadia Design says, “This invitation was designed for a 50th birthday party. Kathy, the birthday girl, loves peonies and pink and wanted to incorporate them into her celebration. She also loved the look of letterpress and wax seals. We designed an invitation for her with two color letterpress, a custom wax seal, and beautiful calligraphy. Also in the suite were table numbers, favor boxes, escort cards, menus, and cupcake and candy bar signs.”
Beautiful work, Heidi!!!!!
