I’m so excited for Reagan’s first Halloween. Given, we’re not going trick-or-treating (Matt’s broken ankle, the cold weather, etc.), but we will be handing out candy to all of the neighborhood kids! Plus, Reagan will be dressing up as the cutest little Gnome ever! Unfortunately, she’s not a fan of the hat (which is my favorite part of the costume).

So on that note! I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween! And stay warm!!!

I was searching high and low for a great creative costume this year. Unfortuatnely, time got away from me and I wasn’t able to create my dream ensemble (maybe next year). However, on my search, I found these awesomely creative ideas… Enjoy!

Happy Friday everyone!!! Wanted to share these awesome laser cut Halloween cards I found on Oh So Beautiful Paper.

“The laser-cut process seems so perfect for these Halloween designs, from the spider web to the spooky haunted house.  And if you’re not a fan of the more traditional orange and black Halloween color palette, you can choose either purple or gray to offset the black laser-cut elements.”

Couldn’t have said it better myself!

I don’t know if you are familiar with the site Hostess with the Mostess, but I absolutely love it! Looking for a cute idea for your daughters first birthday party (which I am), they’ve got it. Need some clever ideas for your best friend’s baby shower (again, I am), they’ve got it. Need some sassy ideas for your girl friends bachelorette party (yep, I’ve been looking for that too), they’ve got it!

With Halloween right around the corner, I thought I would check out some festive party concepts. Check these out!!!

I have to admit, I love Halloween! Something about it makes me feel like a kid again. And now that I have a child of my own (not that she’s old enough to remember her first Halloween), I’ve been getting even more excited! I can’t wait until she’s at that age where she’s picking out her own costume, taveling door to door and going through all her awarded candy!

Here are a few spooky Halloween party invitations to get you in the mood for tricks and treats…

One of my favorite sites for color combo inspiration is Design Seeds. Darn near every thing they put together, I love! I wanted to share some of these beautifully mixed hues that I thought would be perfect for fall weddings. What do you think?

I cannot believe that tomorrow will mark five years that Matt and I have been married! At times it’s felt like much longer and then when I think back on that day, I remember it as if it was yesterday. A lot has happened in those five years! Here are just a few of the highlights…

We bought our first home…

Adopted our pup, Jersey…

And most recently, we welcomed our daughter, Reagan (who will be celebrating her first birthday in December).

I can’t imagine what my life would be like without Matt, and honestly, I don’t want to. He has made me the happiest girl in the world. Not only is he a wonderful husband, but he is an amazing father to Reagan (and Jersey). I couldn’t ask for more.

I am one lucky lady….

I love that wedding invitations can not only give you the details of the big event, but they can also tell a little love story. These invitations map out the journey that each couple took towards love…

The paper airplanes throughout the wedding symbolize Christina
(who designed and letterpressed the invitations) and William’s 7-year
long distance relationship and love letters flying back and forth.
