So, as of yesterday, I am officially 22 weeks prgo. However, I feel like I just “popped” over night and actually became prenant! These photos are from Friday morning. I don’t even have to stand side ways for you to see that I’m pregnant! I mean, that’s an official baby bump if I ever saw one!

Just wanted to share this with all of you!

From what I gather, Pinterest is fairly new….or maybe just new to me! Since discovering its wonderful capabilities, I’ve been hooked! It’s such a great tool, especially for all you brides-to-be who are planning your special day. Say you Google teal wedding and search through all the hundreds of photos that pop up. Well, with Pinterest you can actually create your very on virtual pin board. Here’s how they explain it:

Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.

Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.

Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. To get started, request an invite.

What Can You Do with Pinterest?

Plan a Wedding!

Divya and Ben use Pinterest to plan their wedding. Their Moms can leave comments about the dresses, flowers, and ties they pin up.

Redecorate your Home!

Joy uses Pinterest to save decorating ideas for her new home in LA. She saves patterns, furniture, and accessories that catch her eye.

Save Your Recipes!

Jessica uses Pinterest to discover new gluten free recipes. She always has a collection of tasty appetizers and deserts she can cook when she’s hungry and looking for ideas.

Their Mission

Our goal is to connect everyone in the world through the ‘things’ they find interesting. We think that a favorite book, toy, or recipe can reveal a common link between two people. With millions of new pins added every week, Pinterest is connecting people all over the world based on shared tastes and interests.

So be sure to check this site out! It’s such a helpful tool! And of course, be sure to follow me on it!

Well, onto my latest color combo obsession…yellow and teal or as I like to think of it, “sunshine and aqua.” I stumbled upon this beauty while visiting my favorite wedding inspiration site, Style Me Pretty. So of course, I had to share it with all of you! Enjoy!!!

If you’ve been reading my blog, then you know how much I adore my good friend Leslie Jones!

At the age of 16, Leslie began her journey seeking the stunning, unique and exquisite; traveling to New York yearly to bridal fashion markets with her mother, they built one of the top Bridal Salons in the country. Twenty-three years were enjoyed developing valued relationships in the couture bridal profession as she helped thousands of beautiful brides find their perfect gown.

In the year 2000 the family salon was sold and Leslie’s career evolved as she developed into one of the premier wedding planners in Indianapolis. She carefully crafted Leslie Jones Weddings after her valued principles of integrity, innovation and inspiration; Leslie now leads the way with her insight and experience. With the right mix of elegance, sophistication and style, each wedding evokes a unique and meaningful experience for the client and every guest.

So, of course, I wanted to showcase some of the marvelous weddings she’s helped put together! If any of you are interested in talents such as hers, feel free to email her at info@lesliejonesweddings.com.

Well, things are moving along smoothly! As of today I am 21 weeks pregnant (a little over 5 months). I’m starting to show…well, let me rephrase that, I’m starting to look pregnant. I was showing before, but it really just looked like I had a big dinner! I’m feeling sooo much better. No longer getting nauseous (which ended around 16 weeks) which is WONDERFUL! Never seemed to get my energy back, but as long as I’m not getting sick, that’s fine with me! And the newest development, I’m feeling our little lady practice her kung fu moves! She’s bouncing all over the place! It’s such a weird but exciting feeling!

We’ve begun searching for nursery furniture and bedding. It’s getting a little frustrating trying to find things I like. I’m contemplating making my own bedding. Could be fun…or…could turn into a nightmare, but I think I’m up to the challenge. Just the first of many “hurdles” I’ll be facing over the remaining 4 or so months….well, lets be honest…for the rest of my life. Which is why I thought this card was perfect! Sums everything up…

Quite possibly one of the most elegant and chic weddings that I’ve had the privilege of being a part of!

My dear friend, Leslie Jones, introduced me to the adorable Miss Beth Clayton (now Mrs. George) while she was in The Wedding Studio purchasing her dream dress. I immediately knew I wanted to have my part in her wedding. First of all, Beth is a doll! She had a good idea of what she was looking for, but still left it up to me to interpret creatively. Second, her wedding was going to be at Laurel Hall – one of my most favorite venues in Indianapolis! And third, she was having Dawn Fisher of Galleria Studios shoot the wedding! I just knew that this was shaping up to be one heck of a wedding!

Beth and Nick’s wedding invites were probably one of the most detail oriented suites that I’ve worked on! The outside of the invitation was wrapped in a hand sewn fabric wrap (the fabric was actually the same as the bridesmaid dresses – nice touch).

Then the inside of the invitations, I had fixed jewels onto the actual invite. The additional pieces were stair-stepped and included the response card, directions card and accommodation card. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I think they turned out FABULOUS!!!

But that’s not all I created for this spectacular wedding! For the actual ceremony and reception I created programs, menu table tents, signature drink sings and table numbers. They went along beautifully with the overall look (created by Leslie Jones Weddings and Events – Beth’s wedding planner).

But of course, I can’t just dazzle you with photos of my work… Here are a few other stunning shots captured by the very talented Dawn Fisher.

Incorporating a unique sense of style into your wedding is nothing new. But now-a-days, brides and grooms are literally finding a way to incorporate it into even the smallest of details. Something that I’ve noticed a lot of are unique cake toppers. Here are just a few that caught my eye…
